The MRD Alumni relies on sponsorships to help preserve our legacy, spirit and community. Contributions from sponsors directly support alumni events like MRD Alumni Band Weekend, historical preservation efforts, administrative costs, marketing and communications efforts, young-alumni engagement opportunities, community outreach programs and more.
These efforts both keep our network strong, and increase the visibility of the Marching Royal Dukes, the MRD Alumni and James Madison University at-large.
The MRD Alumni align to the JMU Alumni Association's strategic plan of cultivating sustained engagement and investment in James Madison University by acting as the leading connector and primary resource to meaningfully engaging Alumni and building exceptional relationships with and among students, Alumni, and the university, in order to keep Madison Traditions alive for future generations.
